National Backpack Program Partnered with Office Depot!

The Office Depot Foundation has created the National Backpack Program. Over the past 17 years they have donated school supplies and over 4 million sackpacks to children all over the world.
Office Depot created this independent charitable foundation for the sole purpose of providing school essentials for children in need. This summer, Office Depot will donate 100,000 colorful sackpacks to nonprofit organizations, schools and agencies all over the world. This says a lot about the company, and in a good way too! There are so many children who are in need of backpacks for several reasons, whether they are low income or their lifestyle doesn't have access to these products, etc. Each child deserves a chance to be educated in order to survive in society, and they need tools to help them accomplish this goal. Office Depot promotes this ideal and provides essentials to make these dreams come a reality. I was very fortunate to take part in receiving three samples of their sackpacks. They were all filled with a little pouch. Inside the pouch were some pencils, a pencil sharpener, ruler and a few more items. My nephew and daughter loved these sacks to store their toys and books. I can't wait to use them for the school year! Way to go Office Depot!
